Peel and slice the garlic and ginger. 2. In a bowl mix the garlic, ginger, chilli, soya sauce and honey all together. Add the chicken into the bowl, mix well and leave for one hour. 3. Cut the vegetables, red onion (finely slice) carrot (peel and grated) spring onion (finely sliced) broccoli (small florets). 4. Heat the oil in a saucepan on a medium heat, then add the chicken and the sauce. Cook until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is sticky. Then set aside. 5. Follow the recipe of steamed rice (page 25) and set aside . 6. Cook the broccoli until it is soft but has a bite. 7. Place the chicken, rice, broccoli, red onion, carrot, spring onion and chilli into a serving bowl making sure that you keep it separated.
